Namport, located in Walvis Bay, Namibia, faced inefficiencies due to outdated manual processes in cargo handling, logistics, and administration.

Customer Requirements:

Namport partnered with Logstar to implement a tailored Terminal Operating System (TOS) with the following modules:

  1. General Cargo Module: Efficient handling and tracking of general cargo.
  2. Ro-Ro Module: Management of Roll-on/Roll-off cargo operations.
  3. Syncrolift Module: Lifting system for ship maintenance.
  4. Berth Management Module: Optimizes berth allocation and utilization.

Implementation:

  • Data Migration: Transferred all relevant data to the new system.
  • Configuration: Customized TOS to meet Namport’s operational needs.
